"We'll handle everything."
Five words. Zero proof. It is the default line every generalist recruiter uses, and freight forwarding hiring managers have heard it so many times it no longer registers.
The upgrade is a specific claim, not a softer version of the same one.
Instead of: "We'll handle everything."
Say this: "We already know your trans-Pacific lane, the carrier relationships you rely on, and what a top closer looks like in your sales culture."
The difference comes down to proof.
The weak phrase asks the client to trust without giving them anything to trust. The stronger version hands them a concrete object to evaluate. In a B2B conversation, something concrete always beats something confident.
At Darius and Company, we have spent years inside freight forwarding specifically: the trade lanes, the carriers, the verticals, the pricing dynamics, and the sales cultures. That depth is what makes specificity possible. It is the whole product, not a talking point.
The next time you hear "we'll handle everything" from a recruiter, ask them to name one trade lane your team works. The silence tells you everything.
