There was a moment when filling a seat stopped being enough.
I remember it clearly. A placement had just closed. The client was a name every freight sales professional in the room would recognize. The hire looked right on paper, had the right tenure, said the right things in the interview. Two quarters later, the seat was empty again.
That was the day I stopped running searches the old way.
If you are standing at the edge of a decision right now, whether to move, whether to take that call, whether to trust a recruiter with something as consequential as your next role, I want you to hear this directly: the only search worth running ends with a closer. A filled seat is not the finish line. A closer is.
We work with DSV, Maersk, CH Robinson, Geodis, Kuhne-Nagel, FedEx, and companies like them. That means every candidate we put forward walks into a room where the hiring manager has seen a hundred CVs from people who could talk freight. The standard has to hold up there. It has to hold up on day one, on quota day, and two years in.
Being named alongside the industry's specialist freight forwarding recruiters is not something we chased. It is what happened when we refused to lower the bar on a single search. The standard does not shift for client pressure, speed, or convenience. Every search ends with a closer or it does not end.
So if you are about to say yes to something, or about to call someone to fill a critical role, make sure whoever is across the table from you holds that same standard.
We do.
